I went to work and I was sitting, stradling the bench in the break area and Val pulled up with her lunch. I wave and tell Mitsy, who was with her, hello and I watched vaguely as they settled in. Then Val walked over and stood infront of me and i just wondered what she wanted. She pointed up and I thought she wanted me to move over so I scooted back. She told me to get back and stand up.

.. why does she want to kick my ass...?

So i did and was freaking out and she .. friggen gave me a hug.

Didn't even see that one coming....
She told me 'you know what that's for.' and she walked over and sat down and that was that. So I nodded and was just.. red and sat back down.

Story closed. But it pleased me so much. You know she's grateful if she hugged me. I'm glad she's happy. That makes my Christmas worth while.
