Doctor Update
Feb. 1st, 2016 01:52 pmI went today to a Doctor, to get a check up and establish a Primary Care Physician. I haven't had a Primary doctor since I was a baby, so it was well over due. Thank god I have insurance through my Awesome Wife.
To start with, I've gained 12 lbs this month. Because.. that makes perfect sense. A month of diet, exercise and portion control and I gain weight. Fabulous.
I spoke with her about the lumps in my legs, she doesn't care for them. Wants me to have blood work done tomorrow morning, more extensive than what they could do at the clinic I was at. She asked if I had a family history of Lupus.. I said I have a history of a lot of things but not that. She's thinking anti immune or inflammatory something or other. You know.. good stuff.
Then I showed her my freckles and she said "maybe.. maybe.. maybe, Oh Yes Definately" as she looked as each one of the freckles I showed her. She then told me to take a picture of the freckle and send it to the dermatologist so they could get me an early appointment for a biopsy. She made an appointment with her the first week of March just in case I couldn't get an appointment any sooner. Because that'll make you feel just great.
So tomorrow morning I have to drop my bust ass car off for the 3rd time at the dealership to be worked on at 7:30 am, then go directly to the Blood Work place to have blood drawn. At 1:30pm I have secured a Dermatologist appointment, whether they do the biopsy is at his descretion the lady says, but at least it will be addressed.
Wednesday I have that interview at the Library for the part time job, that should be nice.
Thursday I have the OB appointment.
Thumbs up for Adulthood.
